The Opportunity
AMI Consulting Engineers is seeking a licensed structural engineer that is driven, industrious, enthusiastic and a good communicator. This position requires an engineer with experience in project management, engineering analysis, engineering design and construction oversight. This position will complement and grow our existing marine engineering team’s strengths in coastal and marine structures, marinas, ferry and cruise boat terminals, coastal protection and restoration, river engineering, dams, coastal resiliency, port engineering, and construction management.

Your workday will include planning and managing project scope, schedule, and budget for assigned projects; performing engineering calculations, mentoring less experienced engineers, working with small groups on detailed calculations and structural systems; performing site visits, collection of field data, performing research and investigations, and preparing reports, submittals, and cost estimates.
