Marine System Engineer
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated Associate Marine Engineer to join our KBR Consulting Marine team. The successful candidate will be responsible for Marine System Design, including system engineering/calculation, equipment and pipe layout. The Associate Marine Engineer will have the opportunity to work with Senior Engineers and learn from their expertise.
Responsibilities:

Work with the Marine Systems Design team to provide innovative design solutions for marine systems.

Participate in the development of design calculations, engineering drawings, and specifications for various marine projects.

Conduct equipment and pipe layout design, and work with other team members to ensure a high-quality design.

Participate in the development of project plans and schedules, and ensure that project deadlines are met.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure that project requirements are met, and that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Qualifications:

B.Sc or M.Sc. degree in Marine and/or Mechanical Engineering is required.

Strong interest in learning and developing as a Marine System Design Engineer.

Knowledge of 2D and 3D Design, using tools like PDMS, Smartplant P&ID, AutoCAD, PipeNet, and/or Fluid Flow is considered an advantage.

Knowledge in local rules, codes and standards and international marine rules and regulations, practical experience is considered an advantage.
