The Senior Electrical Engineer will design, develop, and test complex products and systems, ensuring customer criteria are met. This involves coordinating a project from an initial concept through the entire production process. Key tasks associated with this position include designing boat AC/DC electrical systems from the ground up, creating detailed electrical drawings and schematics, interfacing with customers to ensure the final product meets customer requirements, performing research and development on new ideas and technology, supporting manufacturing to troubleshoot production problems, creating detailed engineering reports, and constructing detailed bill of materials for electrical components and supporting systems. The position will require effective problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box. The Senior Electrical Engineer will work closely with program managers, department supervisors, and customers to develop clear tasks, schedules and goals. Occasional travel may be required.
