MR Aerospace Engineering is seeking Aircraft Structure Engineers in Liaison/Design fields with MRO and Modification experience.
Required Skills:
1. B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
2. Over 3 years of industry experience in Aircraft Major Maintenance Support, Aircraft Modifications, Design, and Analysis
3. Experience in working on a variety of wide body and narrow body Aircrafts like Boeing (717,727,737,747,757,767,787), Airbus (A300, A319), Douglas (MD11, MD-88, DC-9, DC-8), Embraer (E170, E175, E190, E195), and other aircrafts
4. Experience in working on Airline, MRO’s, Modification Centers, Manufactures
5. Strong working knowledge and experience of Mechanical Design Applications like Solidworks, Catia V4/V5, AutoCAD
6. Training and knowledge in Engineering Process
7. Fundamental understanding of aircraft structures engineering principles and experience developing and applying minor and major repairs to aircraft structure
8. Should be familiar with engineering drawing systems, aircraft manuals and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) documents
9. Strong written and verbal communication and collaborative skills and the ability to effectively communicate the organization's position with external and internal customers
Desired Skills:
1. BOEING & AIRBUS structural substantiation training and experience
2. Familiar with the classical methods of stress analysis
3. Strong technical knowledge and working experience in AOG support
4. Good communication skills and good working relationship with DERs and Airline Engineering and maintenance teams
5. Good knowledge in Finite Element Analysis software like NASGRO, FEMAP, ANSYS, Nastran / Patran
Additional Skills:
1. Ability to effectively work with and support a multi-disciplined team of engineers, mechanics, technicians, managers, customers etc.
2. Flexibility to move quickly from one assignment to the next and the ability to handle multiple issues simultaneously
3. 30% travel required

Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
