Enlight Medical Technologies is seeking a talented and motivated design engineer interested in pursuing next generation solutions in structural heart surgery.
Applicable qualifications and responsibilities include:
- A B.S. or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering.
- Aptitude and interest in mechanical design for interventional medical devices.
- Ability to translate design concepts into specifications using SolidWorks CAD 3D modeling and mechanical drawings.
- Working collaboratively in project teams to brainstorm innovative ideas, conceptualize, design, implement, and test.
- Designing test fixtures and leading in vitro and in vivo test programs.
- Availability to travel domestically and internationally ~10%.
- Experience with medical device design or a related engineering discipline in a previous internship or full-time role preferred.
- Experience with design verification, design validation, and design control principles for medical devices in markets regulated by the U.S. FDA or CE Mark preferred.
