Parametrix, a leading environmental, engineering, planning and construction company, is seeking a Civil Engineer I-II with strong interest in Transit. This position will join an established, dedicated team of transit and transportation engineers, planners and environmental specialists who are leading the most significant transit and transportation projects shaping the North and Southwest. We support clients in developing bus rapid transit, light rail, streetcar, and commuter rail corridors, as well as zero emission fleet transitions and complete street improvements that increase transit ridership. Ideally, you will be based out of the Puget Sound Region; however, we are open to exploring other locations where we have a client base.
Who you are:
Experienced: You have your BSCE, EIT and interest or experience in transportation and transit engineering design and utilities.
Relationship Focused: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. This position will collaborate with employee-owners, clients, and the community. This position will support complex projects company-wide.
Technically Proficient: You are proficient in or have the aptitude to learn AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation OpenRoads.

Base salary for this position is in the range of $75,000-90,000+. Compensation will be determined based on education, experience, location, and role. For all positions we conduct an equity review. Employee-owners are all eligible for performance-based bonuses based on key contributions. Salaries are reviewed at least once annually as part of our compensation program. We are happy to be transparent in our salary discussions and look forward to sharing more about our compensation structure and the value of being an employee-owner.
