Rangeline Pipeline Services is an underground utility contractor serving municipal and industrial water and wastewater markets. Rangeline Pipeline provides line tapping, line stops, fabricated fittings, and welding services to contractors and owners on all types of concrete piping systems.
The Civil Engineer is responsible for the successful design and quality of our pipeline products and other duties as noted below.

Role Responsibilities
- Review and interpret underground utility (water and wastewater pipe) project plans and specifications.
- Work closely with other company personnel to develop pipe material estimates and pricing in order to develop take-offs and customer quotes.
- Communicate with civil construction companies, consulting engineers, and municipal personnel when needed to discuss project technical details.
- Perform quality reviews of pipefittings and other materials received from outside suppliers.
- Provide technical support to sales staff.
- Provide product design details to fabricators for pricing and fabrication purposes.
- Review fitting detail drawings for accuracy and project compliance.
- Prepare and gather detail drawings to submit for engineering approval.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing with internal personnel and external customers and suppliers.
- Previous experience working in the water/wastewater industry preferred.
- Knowledge of water transmission pipe materials is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products Word and Excel
- AutoCAD experience is a plus.
- Must have good basic math skills.
- Detail oriented and organized.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Engineering degree, (civil preferred).
- EIT or PE license is a plus.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
