Job Description:
Torch Technologies is currently seeking an experienced analyst/engineer with the ability to support Missile Defense System assessments in a team-focused environment on Redstone Arsenal. This position requires collaboration with personnel from two Torch-led organizations: Collaborative Test and Evaluation Center (CTEC) and Sensors Collaborative Test and Evaluation Center (SCTEC). The position consists of performing algorithm testing, data generation, modeling, simulation, and analysis in support of Missile Defense Agency initiatives. Support includes evaluation of remote sensing techniques, single- and multi-sensor target tracking algorithms, target discrimination, data fusion, system-level command and control algorithms, and missile defense battle management techniques.
Job Requirements:
A B.S., M.S, and/or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science plus 10-15 years of related experience is required. Desired experience includes target tracking and trajectory estimation, computer modeling and simulation, data analysis planning and execution, algorithm evaluation, analysis of electro-optical and/or RF remote sensing, and analysis of command and control systems.
Position requires that candidate meets requirements to obtain a final security clearance to access classified information. Inability to obtain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position.
