Senior Structural Engineer P.E.
Los Angeles/Glendale California area- Full-time senior structural engineer with 5+ yrs. experience in building design. Must have a P.E. license registered with the State of California. Candidates must have experience in a wide variety of structural materials and building types with emphasis on steel and concrete.

This position requires comprehensive design and analytical experience with different building materials including steel, concrete, timber and masonry. Working knowledge of design and analysis with fiber reinforced polymers, aluminum and stainless steel preferred. Five years working knowledge with SAP 2000, SAFE and ETABS software is required and experience in Revit and AutoCAD is preferred. This position requires managing project scope by working closely with other structural team members, mechanical engineers and other disciplines. Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, or Bachelor of Science in Structural Engineering (required)
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structures is desirable but not required.
- Five (5)+ years working knowledge with SAP 2000, SAFE and ETABS software
- Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) is desirable but not required.
- Code compliant design experience in California
- Ability to interpret and design to other codes and standards from other regions both domestic and international
- Excellent and creative problem solving ability.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License in a US state (required)
- Ability to obtain PE license reciprocity in Florida within 6 months of hire (required)

Pay: $85,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
