Harmonic Hot Tubs located in Franklin, KY, is looking to add a Mechanical Engineer to our rapidly growing team.
The Mechanical Engineer will work alongside our current team to design and manufacture new hot tubs/spas. In addition, the engineer will work with our team to suggest modifications or improvements to our current product line.
Essential Job Duties
Assist in product development.
Perform full lifecycle product development.
Produce designs an2D/3D drawings.
Test and evaluate theoretical designs.
Estimate budget and scope of project.
Identify, formulate and produce effective solutions to emerging problems.
Provide updates to management.
Provide guidance to maintenance and/or project teams.
Lead efficiency improvement projects
Qualifications:
One to two years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proven experience in mechanical engineering
Familiarity with design and manufacturing tools
Adequate knowledge of engineering analysis tools
Mathematical computing and analysis tools
Creativity, analytical and statistical skills
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail
Proficient in MS Office
Highly self-motivated and directed.
Experience in hot tub/spa or bathtub design is a plus.
Experience in the swimming pool industry is a plus.
Demonstrated passion and commitment to projects, both new and established.
*Ability to commute/relocate to Franklin, Kentucky is required!
