OSP Construction Engineer
Inspects OSP construction and verifies work is done according to specifications
Prepares cost estimates and material requirements for projects
Assists in preparation of annual engineering budges. Manages purchase orders and vendor invoices
Provides input on best practices, permit processes, and field construction methods
Associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Construction Management or equivalent experience
A minimum of 5 years' in OSP engineering design, construction management, or OSP Field inspector
Ability to work independently as well as with a team of senior-level engineers and supervisors
Basic knowledge of electrical theory
Intermediate knowledge of drafting software
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Salina, KS: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Computer networking: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)
