SYSTEMS ENGINEER – Hill AFB – Ogden, UT
Datum Software Inc. Government Solutions (GS) team is currently looking to hire an experienced Systems Engineer.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the government in standing up organic capabilities for the Sentinel Program: Ground-Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD), Nuclear Safety Cross Check Analysis (NSCCA), Nuclear Safety Analysis and Technical Evaluation (NSATE)
- Utilize tools and software pertinent to NSCCA/NSATE, including Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) models
- Utilize tools and software to support NSCCA/NSATE, including pipelines, static/dynamic code analyzers, tool input and output interfaces and command line interfaces
- Evaluate safety critical systems including systems using Real Time Operating System code and hardware in the loop
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum, technical Bachelor's degree in an engineering or scientific field of study (computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, etc.)
- 5+ years experience performing systems engineering, including integration and testing of DoD weapon systems software
- Experience analyzing, deriving, and writing software requirements
- Experience analyzing designs for compliance with requirements
- Experience generating requirements based test procedures
- Understanding of ICBM systems and/or Nuclear Command and Control (NC2) systems
- Expert analytical, written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
- Expert in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Word)
- Ability to work effectively as a member of a government led Multi-Functional Team (MFT)
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
- Ability to work within a team and independently
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Datum Program Manager.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- CLEARANCE LEVEL: Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance prior to beginning work. It is highly preferred if a candidate already has a Top-Secret Security Clearance, but we are able to process the clearance upgrade once the successful candidate has begun in the role.
- The candidate must be able and willing to work on-site at Hill AFB in Ogden, UT. Relocation assistance may be discussed with GS Leadership Team for the right candidate when offer is made.
