Requirements
- Exclusive US citizenship is required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance is required
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university is required
- Minimum 3 years industry experience with systems design and integration

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Qualified Candidates will be able to:
- Assess vehicle (e.g. aircraft, ground, remotely operated, etc.) requirements and develop relevant integrated system architectures
- Establish integrated system architectures which enable subsystem communication, power distribution, and control
- Develop integration plans, create interface control documents (ICDs), and track requirements against plans
- Collaborate with vendors and members of the team to implement the required physical and logical system interfaces
- Perform hands-on implementation and troubleshooting of complex hardware and software integrations throughout various stages of the design and build
- Leverage common embedded and industrial communication protocols such as CAN, Ethernet, 1553, UART, SPI, I2C, etc
- Drive the system design, integration, assembly, and test efforts
- Conduct and support design and trade studies
- Prepare and support design reviews
Desirable, but not mandatory, qualifications include:
- Knowledge of aircraft communications protocols and Open Mission Systems
- Proficiency in C/C++ or similar to develop embedded software
- Familiarity with relevant electrical engineering codes and safety standards
- Perform in the dynamic environment of a growing small business
