Position Title:
Electrical Engineer
Job Description:
Coherent Technical Services, Inc is seeking an Electrical Engineer (junior to journeyman level) to work at Pax River, MD supporting Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems (ATC&LS). The role will perform the following tasks:
· Conduct system level regression tests to support the Joint Precision Approach Landing System (JPALS) In Service Engineering Agent (ISEA).
· Collect, analyze, and process system data and determine if new software releases meet requirements.
· Develop and modify existing documents, test points and procedures.
· Produce metrics, document test activity, and present technical reports and status briefings on test results.
· Support development and integration of design enhancements that address future needs.
· Represent Systems Engineering at meetings, programmatic events, and during ship system installations.
· Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for fleet use.
· Participate and provide technical support for weekly/biweekly meetings.
Education/Certifications:
· B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering from an accredited school.
Experience:
· Would prefer a total of (2) years of experience performing the above duties and responsibilities, preferably with DoD or government agencies, but not required.
· Possess strong organization, documentation, and project management skills.
· Understand government processes and procedures.
· Be willing to travel and participate in shipboard integration activities.
· Experience with network data collection and analysis tools including Wireshark.
· Experience developing technical drawings using Microsoft Visio or related tools.
· Basic understanding of network protocols, fiber optics power distribution and discrete signals.
· Being familiar with electronic test equipment including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, networking tools.
· Assist with or lead engineering investigations.
U.S. Citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility. Must be able to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.

Pay: $66,103.21 - $145,000.00 per year
