Wandling Engineering is located in Ames, Iowa minutes from the Iowa State University campus. We are an engineering firm that provides consulting and forensic services to our clients in Iowa and nationwide. Our forensic engineering expertise includes: Fires & Explosions, Industrial Safety, Motor Vehicle Systems, Agriculture and Construction Industries and Consumer Products. We have been providing services to our clients since 1976.
We are currently seeking a full-time candidate with a Masters or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or Agricultural/Biosystems Engineering. Candidates must have previous industry and/or engineering design experience. Preference would be given to candidates that have, or are pursuing, a Professional Engineers license.
Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate and conduct testing and inspections, develop opinions and scientific/engineering basis for opinions, generate technical research including a review of industry standards, codes, and regulations, communicate findings, reports and opinions to clients and lay persons.
