Proficient Engineering is seeking to hire a professional engineer with 4+ years’ experience in commercial MEP engineering design. The ideal candidate would have AutoCAD/Revit experience, be motivated to quickly move into a leadership position, and manage his/her own team. Proficient designs 1,000+ projects across the country per year and across a diverse spectrum of private and public project types.

Responsibilities:
- Produce proposals and negotiate fees.
- Project manage MEP Teams.
- Attend kick-off meetings with local architects
- Perform site visits in local area
- Coordinate questions/needs list with client
- Coordinate project schedules/deliverables
- Review workload and current staff
- Interview and hire engineers
- Employee reviews
- Review revenues/expenses/profits
Requirements:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering from ABET accredited school
- Minimum 4 years’ MEP design experience (PE and LEED AP a plus)
- Experience in AutoCAD and Revit
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects within a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated attitude
- Strong desire to excel in this industry
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
