Prop Shaft Supply is a leader in the manufacturing of drive shaft components. The company has over 30 years of experience in the driveline business, serving large OEM’s as well as industrial accounts and small driveline repairs. Key responsibilities would include: Supporting cross- functional teams through product design and manufacturing processes. As well as work to improve processes and quality assurance activities in accordance with company goals and ISO 9001 standards.
Primary Job Functions Include:
1. Learn, teach and apply principles of lean manufacturing where applicable.
2. Communicate with employees, supervisors, and management in a courteous and professional manner.
3. Provide engineering support to operations to ensure consistent application of quality techniques.
4. Investigate and resolve quality issues.
5. Determine capability, tolerancing, and material related processes.
6. Write and revise PSS Work Instructions and Quality System Procedures.
7. Assist in the training of new processes for the employees.
8. Assist Quality Manager in ISO procedures and audits.
9. Participate in the development of FMEA and PPAP’s
10. Determine and develop effective measurement techniques to improve accuracy and efficiency.
11. Works as a project lead as new projects are needed.
12. Continuing education, both independently and with the assistance of external sources.
13. Performs other duties as requested.
