Essential Functions:
- Creates preliminary layouts, sketches, and notes to be used during product design process.

Checks completed layouts and drawings for clarity, completeness, and conformity to Company standards.

Develops and designs products and assemblies using CAD software and drafting tools.

Investigates and develops solutions to problems of limited scope and complexity; drafts reports detailing investigations, problems, and solutions.

Assists in maintaining reliability compliance processes and procedures to meet regulatory requirements.
- Works with other engineers to create and implement production operating procedures.
- Reviews product specifications and determines design requirements and scope of work.

Generates design concepts in conformance with product specifications and established engineering principles.

Provides technical and mechanical support to production departments for established processes.

Supports the risk management activities for medical devices.

Assists in some phases of product development as directed.

Assists in the analysis of designs.

Assists in process and/or equipment troubleshooting

Conducts tests utilizing established test protocols.
Education and Experience:

Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering, or any equivalent education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been demonstrated/achieved. Advanced degree is preferred.

Minimum six (6) months of experience in an Engineering position or internship preferred.
- Class II medical device R&D experience preferred.

CAD experience using SolidWorks or equivalent
Pay Range: $29.47-$31.70/hr
