Our company is seeking a Project Engineer to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial drive and an ability to bring their ideas to the table. We are looking for a proactive Project Engineer with knowledge of the building industry and an ability to adapt to the changing needs of our business. The individual for this position will implement new solutions for our clients and analyze the success of these solutions, keeping the needs of our clients at the forefront.
Assists Project Manager with hand-off from estimating
Gathers information from bids to assist project manager in preparing scopes of work for subcontractors and material vendors
Creates project in Procore and submits project information to accounting
Creates and distributes all subcontracts and purchase orders
Distributes project manager created schedule and maintains schedule to include 2 week look ahead
Assures all subcontractor information is in and has been received to include insurance certificate, W-9 forms, change order information (where needed), and licenses and/or permits needed
Initialize and attends pre-construction meeting, weekly subcontractor meetings, and weekly owner meetings. Creates meeting minutes when necessary. Some travel to the jobsites will be necessary including overnights at remote sites.
Prepares and distributes RFQ’s and change requests
Prepares and distributes change orders to subcontractors and/or owner
Manages all subcontractor pay applications with waivers, vendor invoices, and change orders in both Procore and pushes to SAGE
Creates Owner pay applications and waivers and distributes once completed by PM to Owner and SAGE
Processes, reviews, and distributes all submittals
Assists project superintendent when necessary
Maintains an excellent, professional relationship with Client
Manages the close out process, gathers all documents, submits per client requirements
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
