Manufacturing Engineer
Full-time | Manufacturing | Location – Olathe, KS, 66022
Support US manufacturing operations in ensuring cost-effective, efficient production of high-quality parts.
You’ll deliver short and long-term projects that support the business strategy. This will involve:
- Act as the primary liaison between the various engineering departments and the production floor to launch products and to resolve manufacturing issues.
- Ensure that processes are well defined, and documented, so that production employees have the information and tools necessary to produce parts efficiently.
- Propose, plan and execute projects and strategies to drive efficiency in the production operation.
- Act as a secondary technical support for ongoing issues on the production floor to resolve manufacturing nonconformance’s. When trend arises establish corrective action response to resolve the root cause.
- Research, recommend, and execute purchases of new equipment which will improve efficiency on the shop floor or adds new capabilities.
We’re looking for someone who can come up with simple solutions to complex problems. To join us you need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering related field. (Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial).
- Possess a rudimentary knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement or Six Sigma.
- Validate a proven track record in effectively driving tasks and priorities for overlapping projects and meeting deadlines in a consistent, complete, accurate and timely manner.
- Exhibits a passion for software and technology and ability to effectively adapt to change
