OMNI has partnered with Genuen in their search for a Systems Engineer to support their Albuquerque, NM operations. Responsibilities:
The Systems Engineer will be a project lead and technical contact for customers. As a project lead, this position will assist in defining the project’s schedule, budget, system requirements, conceptual designs and resource plan.
- Work as Project Lead – the primary technical contact for the client and leader of a multidiscipline project team.

Review work products, provide design feedback and help to mitigate technical challenges.

Prepare and install planning/requirement/test/certification solutions in accordance with project specifications and standards.

Engage in client project initiatives that involve the development and delivery of turn-key hardware and software deliverables.

Provide advice on project costs, design concepts and design changes.

Ensure projects use appropriate hardware/software/system architectures.

Prepare deliverables such as planning documents, requirements documents, design documents, review documents, test strategy, test scripts, and reports.

Ensure appropriate metrics and performance goals are in place to measure and communicate progress.

Identify IP created for projects that is suitable for company reuse libraries and/or future product development.

Mentor new team members through training required for team role.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

3+ years of systems engineering experience.

1+ years leading projects and architecting systems.
- Experience in a safety critical regulated industry is a plus.

Prior experience cultivating and leading others to grow with respect to their technical abilities.

Successful history of owning and executing task responsibility.

Occasional travel as needed.
- United States citizenship is required.

The ability and willingness to obtain a government security clearance is required.
