Civil Science is currently seeking a remote Transportation Design Leader to join our team. This unique position will be perfect for an energetic Engineer who is looking to grow their career. In this role, you will work on a diverse portfolio in roadway design and large scale transportation projects through ourNorth Dakota office. Additionally, you will work closely with clients, other project managers, firm principals, and support staff to ensure a successful completion for our clients. The key to succeeding in this role will be your ability to coordinate staff efforts to ensure timely and cost-effective solutions to demanding project requirements.

Responsibilities:
- A Design Lead would oversee daily tasks for Designers and Technicians and the projects they are working on.
- Project Budgets
- Technical Trainings
- Mentoring of Designers
- Technical Content for Business Development/Marketing Pursuits
- Project Quality Control Procedures
- Involved in fostering existing and creating new client relationships
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate engineering discipline
- Fundamentals of Engineering License (Required)
- Professional Engineer License (Preferred)
- A minimum of 5 years experience in Civil Engineering or related work
- Proven technical leadership ability and communication skills to work effectively with other people at all levels
- Working knowledge of MicroStation, InRoads, GeoPak, OpenRoads and relevant design Software
- Experience with North Dakota Department of Transportation design process and specifications
- Previous experience with various municipal projects
