Sycamore Engineering, Inc. is currently looking for a Design Engineer to join our team. They will be responsible for supporting the development, design, and implementation of mechanical or electrical solutions in construction applications. Including design, detail, costing, studies, and more. The Design Engineer will work collaboratively across departments and external suppliers to ensure successful completion of projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and calculate design drawings
- Develop the specifications for construction projects (new construction & remodel)
- Size MEP construction needs for industrial plants and other projects
- Perform site visits to assess the construction and scope of work
- Discuss budget and pricing with clients
- Account Management on repeat Industrial / Commercial customers
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Any Engineering field- (P.E. Preferably)
- Capable of performing load calculations for commercial buildings
- Knowledge and proficiency within AutoCAD or Revit
