WTEC has carved out a unique market position in the Renewable Energy market segment, and is actively pursuing expansion into other Commercial, Industrial segments.
The person will be responsible for,
- Establishing all the test protocols for electrical testing of Medium Voltage (up to 69 KV rated) and High Voltage (over 69 KV rated) Cables.
- Purchase, set-up, maintain, and calibrate all the test gear. We purchase the equipment from all the best qualified vendors world-wide.
- Interface with customers regarding unique test requirements.
- Responsible for in-house test qualifications for new, special cable designs.
- Be part of the team responsible for New Product Developments.
Requirements and Experience:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree, Electrical Power Engineering. Master’s degree is preferred. Bachelor’s degree will be acceptable, if the person has direct relevant experience. Note, this requires the education in Power Engineering with some knowledge of Electrical Controls and Software. The focus will be on Electrical Power Engineering and testing.
- Experience of 3-5 years in same or related field.
A candidate based in USA will be preferred. Candidates from foreign countries will be considered only with Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering AND 3-5 year’s directly relevant experience.
