Imaging Service Engineer - Biomedical
40 Hours Weekly, Full Time, Dayshift
Job Summary:
The Biomedical Engineering Imaging Specialist services various medical imaging systems, including but not limited to General X- Ray, R & F, Mammography, CT, and Ultrasound modalities.
Objective is to maximize the uptime of the Imaging systems.
In addition, these specialists may be tasked for maintenance on other biomedical equipment, telephone stations and associated peripheral equipment.
Serve as a project lead for inventory management system.
Requirements:
Associate’s degree in Biomedical Equipment technology or Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
Certified Radiological Equipment Specialist (CRES) preferred.
Minimum 5 years’ experience servicing DI equipment including GE, Hologic, Lorad, Philips manufactured systems in the X-Ray, R & F, CV, Mammography or Ultrasound modalities.
Experience with mechanical devices, tools and test equipment.
Must possess skills using a digital multi-meter, phantom, KV Meter, and networking.
