Manufacturing machinery manufacturer is seeking an Electrical Engineer in the Wilmington NC area. Ideal candidate will have both mechanical and electrical background working on machines and equipment preferably in a production, manufacturing or industrial environment. Customers are high profile companies who have state of the art manufacturing facilities, automation and equipment so there is an opportunity to learn about new kinds of equipment and technology. Solid computer skills and troubleshooting at the PLC level are a plus. This is a day shift position. Long Term career growth potential. JOB DUTIES:
- Performing preventive maintenance and adjusting equipment; perform maintenance on production line equipment
- Remove old machines and install new machines
- Participate in installation, start up of new machine and complete new machine checks,
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Will be trained to troubleshoot state of the art machines used in the manufacturing and production industries
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4-5 years of experience working with industrial. production or manufacturing machinery
- Experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs), pneumatics and hydraulics
- Industrial, Production or Manufacturing Machinery Maintenance / troubleshooting experience required
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Experience with high speed equipment, conveyors, sensors, PLCs, or molding machines a plus
